Clifton Diocese Musicians Day, 25th November - update

Dear musicians,

A huge thank you for registering for the Musicians Day and Mass next weekend. We're looking forward to it immensely.

We have now created some resource lists for the music which we'll be using at the 6pm Mass which will be the culmination of the whole day.

You can see the list by visiting this page on our website and then following the various links.

As you can see there is a lot of music on the list, of many different types and styles in celebration of our rich heritage in the Catholic Church. To make sure that we're comfortable with the music we'll start rehearsing at 2.30pm in the Cathedral.

Please bear in mind that the Cathedral is a big place, and although the heating will be on it may still be chilly in there at this time of year. Wrap up warm!

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at martin@cliftonms.com.

And please keep telling other people about the Mass, and encouraging them to come along and sing, or to support us by attending the Mass, which will be celebrated by Bishop Declan.

Finally, that webpage again with all the information: http://www.cliftonms.com/diocesanchoir/musiciansmass2012.php

If you are somebody who did a mass registration (eg, you told us that a number of people from your parish/choir/area were coming) please pass this information on to them.

Clifton Music Service website

The Clifton Music Service website at cliftonms.com has some great resources on it for you to use, plus more information about the Music Service, which is updated on a regular basis with news of Diocesan Music and cathedral services.

Give us some idea of what you want to see on it (for instance, a Mass/Service planner is in development, and we hope to get some forums going again soon) and we'll do our best to implement them.

Oh, and we've also got a Twitter account. Follow us at @cliftonmusic
